Interview Prof. Gebhard Schertler about the Nobel Prize 2012 in chemistry (Kobilka/Lefkowitz) on DRS 2
Brian Kobilka and Robert Lefkowitz received the Nobel Prize 2012 in chemistry for their research about the G-protein coupled receptor. Prof. Gebhard Schertler (Paul Scherrer Institute, Villingen), who has closely collaborated with Brian Kobilka, has given an Interview on DRS 2. (1.11.2012)
New professors appointed in the D-BIOL
The ETH board has in its last meeting appointed 14 people as professors, two of which in the Department of Biology: Dr. Constance Ciaudo as assitant professor for RNAi and genome integrity and Dr. Manfred Claassen as assistant professor for computational biology. ETH Life Article (1.10.2012)
Institute of Molecular Health Sciences (IMHS) has moved
The research groups of the Institute of Molecular Health Sciences so far scattered to three different buildings on the Hönggerberg campus have now moved into the newest building on the campus, HPL. ETH Life reports here about the move.
