The rectorate of ETH Zurich is in charge of the administrative support for education at ETH Zurich and provides services for students,

Concept courses, held as lectures are designed to teach the basic concepts of important areas in biology, chemistry and related fields.
The biology curriculum offers sixteen different concept courses; four as annual courses with lectures both in the autumn and spring semesters, eight with lectures only in the autumn semester and four with lectures only in the spring semester.
