In the third year of the bachelor studies students can choose from a variety of concept courses and block courses. In order to obtain the bachelor diploma at least three concept courses and five block courses have to be completed successfully. Overall a minimum of 60 credit points have to be obtained.
Block courses impart the biological sciences as processes via lectures, experimental work, seminars and literature studies in particular areas of biology.
Block courses can also be chosen from the University of Zurich’s curriculum (see http://www.vorlesungen.uzh.ch Hauptfach, Biologie, 3. Studienjahr). Because the number of participants for each block course is limited, the registration must follow a special procedure. The necessary information and registration procedure can be found at https://www.uzh.ch/zoolmed/ssl-dir/Blockkurse_UNIETH.php (German version only).
Incoming Mobility students may find directions for the registration procedure in English via the following link.
Note: the courses may be taught in German and/or English. See the
teaching language for each course in the respective course catalogues.
